PLUS THEY HAVE HIDDEN CHARGES ALL THROUGHOUT THEIR FINE PRINT AND THEY'LL CHARGE YOU CLOSE TO $100.00 FOR THEIR "ESTIMATE". OURS IS FREE. IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE US, CALL AROUND AND SEE IF THEY WILL EVEN GIVE YOU AN ESTIMATE OVER THE PHONE FOR SOMETHING SIMPLE LIKE A FRIDGE. THEY WON'T BECAUSE THEY WANT THAT ESTIMATE FEE. TRUST ME, I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS LONG ENOUGH TO KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT.
The difference between us and them is simple- pricing. They charge you way too much. We're not going to spell their names out, but if you have done a google search to get here, they are the companies all on the first page.
The whole reason why I started this junk business (well there are two reasons) is because a long time ago, I'd say 10 years ago, my aunt had a storage unit she had rented. She couldn't pay on time so the unit went to auction. She was in a financial crunch at the time, unaware to the rest of the family, and couldn't meet her bills. It was very hard and painful for her to watch her belongings being carried away never to be seen again.
Well this particular storage company did not do an auction like is traditionally done when someone defaults on their payments. Instead, they called a junk company, a name in which every body in the world has at least heard once, and they did so at my aunt's unknown expense.
Inside of her storage unit was 7 boxes, very light, because it was all clothing, a fridge, a freezer, and a bowling ball set. The grand total by this company to her was $451.00. When she told me about this and what they charged her, my immediate thought was "Hey, someone overcharged my aunt big time!" After calling this junk removal company and finding out that indeed the price was correct, I was dumbfounded. I asked myself, "How can a company get away with charging someone like this? And what's worse is that she didn't even agree to it."
Every time I thought about it I was angered, even writing to the corporate offices of both the storage unit and junk pick up companies, until time eventually overcame my anger. My hostility was then replaced with a thought of, "Well, if these guys could charge that much for that little bit of stuff, if I were to open a junk removal company and offered prices half of what they offered, not only would I feel a little sense of self vindication but also I could probably build a big clientel list over time."
Ten plus years later, here I am. I am still charging way less than the other guys. Below is my pricing off of the amounts it would take to fill a roll off container:
OUR PRICES RANGE FROM $75.00 FOR A CALL THAT IS LESS THAN AN EIGHTH OF A ROLL OFF VOLUME FULL. (see pictures above) OUR MAXIMUM PRICE PER ROLL OFF VOLUME IS $450.00 THIS MAXIMUM IS BASED UPON IF THE JOB IS A LABOR INTENSIVE JOB OR NOT. ALSO IT DEPENDS ON THE DISTANCE TO AND FROM THE JOB.
REMEMBER...THEY ARE GOING TO CHARGE PROBABLY $550 - $600 JUST ALONE FOR THE VOLUME IT WOULD TAKE TO FILL A BOX TRUCK (MID-SIZED U-HAUL TRUCK). THE VOLUME RATE IS GROSSLY DIFFERENT WHEN COMPARED TO A ROLL OFF . YOU CAN TAKE THE DICE AND ROLL THEM WITH THE OTHER COMPANIES, OR YOU CAN CHOOSE THE CHEAPEST COMPANY (us) ..... A COMPANY WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT YOU AND OUR EARTH. DECIDE WISELY...
We accept cash, check, and money orders. We are currently reopening our account for VISA and MASTERCARD payments. It is not ready yet. We will keep you posted. We also finance for customers with a grand total of $350.00 and more. If you are not a company, you must have a credit score through FICO of 625 points or greater in order to qualify for this offer. Our finance rate is 14.875% for all qualified applicants.
Another thing to remember too is when contacting us through on of the methods described on our CONTACT US page, please state:
1 Each and every item if you can. If you cannot, then please compare the size of the junk to something familiar to everyone.
2 Your home or business address.
3 Where the junk is located at. In other words, is the junk at the curb waiting for us or do we have to walk 1000 ft and up two flights of stairs in order to get to it.
The more accurate you are in your description, the more accurate our over the phone quote to you will be. Our quote over the phone can be changed if the items you stated are more or less than what you told us over the phone. It can also change depending on the accuracy of your description of where the junk is located (labor wise).
The quote over the phone is only a rough estimate and not an actual bid price. The majority of the populace in the past have given us pretty accurate descriptions of the junk, therefore resulting in a quote the same as the price.

Before contract is signed by you or us, you will be given a copy of our terms and conditions as well as a copy of our legal disclaimer. Receipts are given electronically through email.
